a ryokan stay

amazing breakfasts convenient location used tatami mats limited space
the breakfasts were amazing with both japanese and western options. the location was conveniently close to a train station for getting around. i appreciated that multiple shrines were within walking distance.
i noticed the tatami mats and walls all looked somewhat used. the space to move around was not comfortable despite it seemed spacious. the cleanliness could be better.

The staff were very kind and helpful. I found that they shipped a bag that a friend left behind directly to her home after we had gone to Tokyo. My room was spacious and included everything I needed.
I felt that the walls looked slightly used.

generous breakfast coffee service subway proximity
the japanese breakfast was excellent and generous, i found it very filling. self service coffee in the lounge area was convenient too. the ryokan is close to the subway, so getting around was simple. plus it is also near restaurants.
my tatami had some minor stains.
